A nice moonlight white from old/ancient trees in a new area on the Chinese border in Hà Giang we started working with this year.
 
Ngài Là Thầu is a beautiful area north of Hà Giang city. There are sweeping terraced hillsides that turn gold when the rice is ripe in the Autumn.
 
There is actually a bit of material from the neighboring village as well as Cao Bồ blended together to make this cake. It is about 75% Ngài Là Thầu tea leaf material in total. 
 
This tea brews up quickly into a rich golden soup. Heavily floral and sweet with a touch of bitterness for balance and a long sweet finish. This tea goes many rounds and has a pleasant relaxing effect.
