A delicious and interesting take on raw puerh from our good friend in Túng Sán.
This tea is made from ancient trees growing on the western face of Tây Côn Lĩnh mountain, the highest peak in Hà Giang province.
This tea was made in an atypical way borrowing a bit from oolong processing. There is a shaking step and extended withering to boost fragrance and sweetness.
This tea brews up quickly into a rich golden soup. Highly fragrant with notes of meadow flowers, alpine forest and honey. Low bitterness/ astringency and lasting huigan effect/ qi. This is the most fragrance and honey forward of all the raw puerhs this year.
It is an uncommon version of puerh for sure but if you like sweet, fragrant, gentle but strong teas then you will enjoy this one.
