This is a nice ripe puerh from 2010 made of mostly whole leaf material from Cao Bồ, Hà Giang. A good amount of the material used to make this tea is from older trees. Hà Giang is the home of ripe puerh production in Vietnam and many ripe puerh producers in China choose to use Cao Bồ tea in their blends to really up the raw material quality.

The weather in Vietnam is very hot and humid making aging tea quite difficult. This tea has been aging in what I feel are ideal conditions for Vietnam since 2010 and I feel it has reached a great state.

This tea brews up quickly with a clear mahogany colored soup. Thick mouthfeel, sweet cocoa, herbal forest flavor that is warming and comforting.

Has a strong but relaxing qi.

Great tea for a cold rainy day or a relaxing evening!

350-gram stone pressed cakes.
