A beautiful tea from our good friend in Hà Giang. 

This spring’s sun dried and air dried Hà Giang black teas are from old and ancient trees in an area called Ngài Là Thầu. This is a really amazing area close to the border with China. There are sweeping terraced hillsides that turn gold when the rice is ripe in the Autumn. 
 
This tea brews up quickly into a rich crimson gold soup. The flavor profile is complex with stone fruit, warming spices, a bit of malt and chocolate and with a long honey sweet finish. 
 
This tea has good endurance and performs well over a longer session.
