A special tea from the upper slopes of Pu Ta Leng Mountain. The raw material for this tea comes from ancient trees growing at an altitude of 2200m+ deep in the forest. Some of the trees here are 20+ meters tall! The leaves of these trees take on a dark-green purplish color and have a wild look to them.
 
This tea has a wonderful sweet slightly sour, complex fruity floral fragrance with a tingling cooling sensation that builds in the throat. The flavors I pick up from this tea include tropical fruits, citrus and forest moss. 
 
The weather when producing this tea was more sunny than last year. The withering and sun drying processes went quicker before the final air drying step. The colors are more vibrant and the flavor has more of a cream aspect than the 2022 batch.
 
The qi is energizing and uplifting with a lasting huigan. Drinking this tea always puts me in a great mood.
 
Shorter and then longer steeps at 80-95 degrees work well for me.
