A nice small batch of autumn sheng (only 3kg was made this season) from one of my favorite areas near Hà Giang city. 
 
Xà Phìn just over the ridge to the north from Lùng Vài and south-east of Ngài Là Thầu. Xà Phìn is known for beautiful rice terraces that turn golden in the autumn as well as for good tea. 
 
This tea brews into a golden soup. Heavily sweet, highly floral with some fruity and forest notes. Low bitterness and astringency. Nice huigan and impressive strength and stamina for autumn tea.
